This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Texas Chapter’s Walk to Defeat ALS! It’s a virtual race this year, which means you can walk (or run) any distance you want with other racers from around the country at 11 a.m. October 31. As a bonus, any participant who races $100 will get a free T-shirt! Each registered team will also get a Walk Day kit filled with swag, such as a yard sign, balloons, sidewalk chalk, temporary tattoos, Spotify playlist and more. Funds raised will benefit the ALS Association, which works to discover treatments and a cure for ALS, as well as to serve, advocate for and empower people affected by ALS.
