This weekend, Operation Kindness is partnering with Norma’s Cafe for their 8th Annual Adoption Event! Operation Kindness will be at Norma’s Café in Plano on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a few furry friends up for adoption. The dogs will be able to meet and greet guests while they enjoy music and entertainment and a full buffet breakfast.


Texas Nonprofit Partners With Diner To Help Homeless Pet


WHO: Operation Kindness, North Texas’ original no-kill animal shelter, and Norma’s Café, the original Dallas dining icon


WHAT: Operation Kindness and Norma’s Café have partnered for the 8th Annual Adoption event to support the mission of the largest and no-kill animal shelter to save homeless cats and dogs. Dogs present at the event will also be up for adoption and looking for a forever home.


DETAILS: During the 8th Annual Adoption Event at Norma’s Café in Plano, guests can participate by making a $25 donation for access to reserved areas of the café while supporting Operation Kindness. Reserved areas include a private dining room, a patio for music and entertainment as well as a full buffet breakfast and 1 raffle ticket. The raffle tickets include an opportunity to win a year’s worth of Norma’s Café’s Pancakes and famous Chicken Fried Steak. Operation Kindness will be outside the patio area welcoming guests with an opportunity for customer’s to meet and greet dogs up for adoption.


Guests who may not be able to attend the event may still purchase raffle tickets at any of the other 5 Norma’s Café locations. In addition, portions of the day’s proceeds from all locations on Saturday, Sept. 28 will be directly donated to Operation Kindness.
