#1. Sidecar Social

Sidecar Social has over 20,000 square feet of space to lounge, listen to live music, sing karaoke, and play games like bocce ball and corn hole. The restaurant has an indoor lounge space as well as a patio with plenty of seating and heaters. Happy hour is every Monday through Friday from 11 am – 6 pm, and deals include $4 call drinks and ½ off house wine by the glass. Their happy hour is the perfect time to sip on a glass of half-off pinot grigio while taking on a friend in a game of darts.

Thirsty Lion Gastropub is a hot spot for Happy Hour. Thirsty Lion celebrates Happy Hour every day from 3 PM to 6 PM, with special discounts on pints, cocktails, wine, and food, starting at $7.95. On Fridays and Saturdays, an additional Late Night Happy Hour runs from 9 PM until 11 PM.

Ida Claire is keeping things fresh and bringing the heat with their new summer menu! Dive into the Grilled Peach and Goat Cheese Salad – a vibrant mix of sweet and savory that screams summer or get hooked on the Seafood Pasta, a celebration of ocean flavors in every bite. The bar is also shaking things up with exciting seasonal cocktails. The Spanish G&T is a zesty twist on a classic, perfect for those sultry summer nights. The Lavender Haze is a floral-infused beauty that’s as stunning as it is delicious. And don’t miss the showstopper, the Watermelon Sugar Hi, crafted with Delta-8 seltzer – a refreshing, edgy treat that’s set to be the season’s sensation.

#4. Austin’s Bar-B-Que

Austin’s Bar-B-Que is a family-owned barbeque joint serving up Authentic Texas BBQ. The menu features smoked meats served by the pound, as a sandwich, or a plate. Brisket and Pulled Pork are only some examples of their mouthwatering meats that pair perfectly with a baked potato or potato salad. Mac n cheese and green beans are some of the classic BBQ sides that you’ll see on the menu, and you can finish off your meal with banana pudding or peach cobbler for something sweet. Nothing goes with pit-smoked BBQ like an ice-cold beer, and Austin’s has you covered with their full bar and lounge.

#5. Vitruvian Nights Live Featuring Limelight

The exciting summer concerts in the Vitruvian Park Amphitheater are back – and did we mention they’re FREE? Vitruvian Nights Live features live music, food trucks, and outdoor games every other Thursday from 7:00 – 9:30 pm through August 18th. This Thursday, July 11th, Limelight, an Emerald City party band, will be taking the stage and bringing the party!

7 Things to Do This Week 7/10 - 7/14#6. Vitruvian Salsa Festival Featuring Tumbaka

3966 Vitruvian Way, Addison, TX 75001

Bring your dancing shoes to Vitruvian Park and get ready to dance the hot summer nights away! The Vitruvian Salsa Festival is coming to Addison every 2nd Saturday in June, July, August, and September! This free event begins at 6 pm and includes live bands and DJs, salsa lessons, food trucks, and more. This Saturday, July 13th, Tumbaka is bringing the tunes, and you won’t want to miss it! While this event is free, parking is $15.

#7. Galleria Dallas’ Showtime Saturdays Presents The Knock Knock Show

Showtime Saturdays at Galleria Dallas provides a variety of captivating shows by professional circus clowns, magicians, and kid-friendly comedians. Every Saturday, children and families are welcome to enjoy in-person entertainment near the Play Place on Level 3. This Saturday, July 13th from 11:30 am – 12:00 pm, Showtime Saturdays presents The Knock Knock Show! What happens when you mix a quirky puppet with a mischievous magician? You get the always delightful, often insanely silly, Knock Knock and Papo.
