Spend your happy hour at Sidecar Social! Sidecar Social has over 20,000 square feet of space to lounge, listen to live music, sing karaoke, and play games like bocce ball and corn hole. The restaurant has an indoor lounge space as well as a patio with plenty of seating and heaters. Happy hour is every Monday through Friday from 11 am – 6 pm, and deals include $4 call drinks and ½ off house wine by the glass. Their happy hour is the perfect time to sip on a glass of half-off pinot grigio while taking on a friend in a game of darts.

#2. Vitruvian Park Tavern

With a friendly neighborhood feel and an extensive whiskey list, Vitruvian Park Tavern is a must-visit. This restaurant and bar located in Vitruvian Park is the perfect spot for happy hour with coworkers, or to bring a date to impress them with the collection of house cocktails, Scotch and Bourbon, and wine. The bar also offers a rotating frozen drink and views of the surrounding park and trails. Their food menu features shareable items like popcorn shrimp, hummus, and onion dip to share with your group. The kitchen is open from 2 pm – 10 pm daily, and the bar stays open until midnight.

Get ready to be moonstruck and sun-kissed at the celestial party of the century! On April 8, 2024, the stars align (literally) for the most electrifying event in Addison Circle Park as we come together to form a “Total Eclipse of the Park”. We’re setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. Star gazers of all levels are encouraged to grab their blankets, lawn chairs, and coolers and participate in day-long activities including a morning yoga session brought to you by Addison Circle Yoga, live music by Extended Play, and fun yard games provided by Addison Outdoors. It will definitely not be a regular Monday. It all culminates with a chance to view the total solar eclipse starting around noon and reaching totality at 1:40pm. 

#6. Galleria Dallas’ Showtime Saturdays Presents David Chicken

13350 Dallas Parkway, Dallas, TX 75240

Showtime Saturdays at Galleria Dallas provides a variety of captivating shows by professional circus clowns, magicians, and kid-friendly comedians. Every Saturday, children and families are welcome to enjoy in-person entertainment near the Play Place on Level 3. This Saturday, April 6th from 11:30 am – 12:00 pm, Showtime Saturdays presents David Chicken! Three-time Emmy Award-Winning musician David Chicken leads the kids through high-energy, interactive performances. Join David to sing, play musical instruments and be a star!

#7. The Glass Menagerie

15650 Addison Road, Addison, TX 75001

The Classics Theatre Project presents the Glass Menagerie! Distinctly powerful, this iconic story is a memory play as told to us by Tom Wingfield, a merchant marine looking back on the Depression years he spent working in a factory and sharing a St. Louis tenement with his overbearing Southern genteel mother, Amanda, and his sister, Laura. While Amanda strives to give her children a life beyond the inhabit, she is herself trapped by the memory of her romanticized youth. Tom, finds his own escape in drinking and going to the movies, while Laura pours her energy into caring for her delicate glass figurines.
