Addison Outdoors

Embrace outdoor fun with Addison Outdoors! Thanks to the Addison Parks and Recreation department, the AddisonRecreational Sports and Fitness in the Corridor Outdoors Pop-Up trailer is rolling into a park near you. Perfect for adventurers of all ages, this trailer offers free activities, including Giant Jenga, Imagination Playground blocks, cornhole, and much more! Play a round of golf, or namaste and play with free yoga sessions hosted by Addison Circle Yoga. Simply grab your mat, unwind, and find your inner peace amidst the beauty of nature. But wait, there’s more! Addison’s outdoor classes are the perfect way to get outside and enjoy Addison Circle Park and Vitruvian Park. Come and get your yoga on in Addison’s backyard while pet goats graze and jump around you during a session of Goat Yoga. Dedicate four weeks to Camp Gladiator, where each “camp” is a 60-minute, full-body workout incorporating both cardio and strength exercises led by certified personal trainers. Join your Vitruvian Park fitness trainer for a boot camp, as featured on Good Morning Texas! Train With Trey consists of a 1-hour full body workout that is great for those with all fitness levels, and your first session is free! Does your furry friend want to join in on the fun? With the Six Packs and Dog Packs Training, your dog can learn proper socializing exercises and skills. And if you’re in the mood for a powerful seven-movement workout program, then the NFC Fitness Court located on the west side of Vitruvian Park between Park Road and the Vitruvian Trail is the place for you.

Addison residents only can become members of the Addison Athletic Club, with recreational, health, fitness, and athletic programs catering to residents of all ages, it’s no wonder approximately 3,100 members choose to call this their fitness home. With top-notch facilities, including a gymnasium for basketball and pickleball, dedicated fitness areas equipped with weight and cardio equipment, racquetball courts, swimming pools, and more, the Athletic Club provides a great setting for achieving your wellness goals.
