Austin’s Bar-B-Que is a family-owned barbeque joint serving up Authentic Texas BBQ. The menu features smoked meats served by the pound, as a sandwich, or a plate. Brisket and Pulled Pork are only some examples of their mouthwatering meats that pair perfectly with a baked potato or potato salad. Mac n cheese and green beans are some of the classic BBQ sides that you’ll see on the menu, and you can finish off your meal with banana pudding or peach cobbler for something sweet. Nothing goes with pit-smoked BBQ like an ice-cold beer, and Austin’s has you covered with their full bar and lounge.

Asian Mint is the taste that Addison has been looking for! Their menu features savory noodle dishes, spicy curries, and lighter soups and salads. “Stop by and let your palate travel to heaven with our Pad Thai offerings, Sea Bass, or our lighter fare, Asian Noodle Salad.” The Sea Bass is a standout menu item. Wild-caught sea bass is prepared with a lime ginger soy marinade and served with broccoli, bok choy, mushroom, and red bell pepper. The appetizers are smaller bites that are perfect to share. If you can’t decide, just try the Mint Platter with grilled chicken satay, fresh chicken summer roll, fried vegetable egg roll, and steamed dumplings.

Kick-off the weekend with live music every Thursday at Nate’s Seafood! The 2022 Readers’ Choice Awards winner for Favorite Place to See Live Music features live blues music and Gulf seafood are staples, with different bands featured every Thursday and Sunday. This Thursday, try one of their Coastal Classics, including fried Gulf oysters and red beans and rice (number one in the Metroplex!).
#6. Chaplin: The Musical

From November 8th through November 19th, WaterTower Theatre will be performing Chaplin: The Musical at Addison Theatre Centre. Chaplin is based on the real-life story of Charlie Chaplin, the iconic film actor, writer, producer, and director. The new musical spans the comic’s entire career, from Chaplin’s first performance as a child in 19th-century London to his tearful acceptance of an honorary Academy Award in 1972. #7. Sip N Tip Trivia Night at Lazy Dog

Sip N Tip Trivia Night is an opportunity to network and meet other like-minded individuals. The goal with Sip N Tip is to foster a collaborative, social environment where we teach and discuss how to implement all things pertaining to financial literacy.
