Every Monday – Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM it’s Happy Hour at Vidorra. Enjoy $4 select beers and $5 house wines, as well as half off select appetizers. The Toasted Yolk just opened in Addison, offering an all-day breakfast menu with drinks that satisfy and match their slogan “It’s never too early to get toasted!” Their dishes use only the highest-quality ingredients and everything is made from scratch, including sauces, dressings, and soups of the day. #6. Jennifer Pickett Art Show7 Things to Do This Week 9/6 - 9/10

The Addison Conference Centre is currently hosting an art exhibit featuring the works of Dallas-based artist Jennifer Pickett. On display until October 17, the exhibit highlights Pickett’s transition from a career in graphic design to a fine artist and illustrator. The exhibit at the Addison Conference Centre provides an opportunity for attendees to witness Jennifer Pickett’s creative journey and evolving style. The collection of artworks is free to the public and runs through October 17. The Conference Centre is open Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm.

#7. Doggie Splash Day

3900 Beltway Dr., Addison, TX 75001

The outdoor pool at the Addison Athletic Club goes to the dogs on Saturday, September 9 once it closes to the public for the season. Prepare to make a splash with your furry friend at the upcoming Doggie Splash Day. Small dogs splash from 9:30 am – 10:30 am, and big dogs from 10:45 am – 12 pm. Addison residents who are Athletic Club members can register their dog for $5 at the club, with proof of vaccination.
