#1. Bitter Sisters Brewery

Try something new at Bitter Sisters Brewery and enjoy one of their in-house beers. Bitter Sisters is the only production brewery in Addison and is an independent, family-owned craft brewery. They offer beers such as the Busy Body, a Blonde Lager, or the Hot Temper, which they describe as a cool way to blow off steam! The tasting room is open Tuesday through Friday from 4 pm – 9 pm, Saturday from 2 pm – 9 pm, and Sunday from 12 pm – 6 pm.

Every Monday – Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM it’s Happy Hour at Vidorra. Enjoy $4 select beers and $5 house wines, as well as half off select appetizers. It’s the perfect time to try their frozen Patron margarita flights or one of their unique margaritas. Grab their queso blanco that comes in a sizzling cauldron while its half-off – you won’t be disappointed.

The best free summer concert series in DFW is back! Vitruvian Nights Live returns to the amphitheater at Vitruvian Park for the last concert of the year. This week, the band performing is Uptown Funk, a Bruno Mars Tribute Band! Come party with live music, food trucks, and outdoor games at this free event.

#7. Vitruvian Salsa Festival

Bring your dancing shoes to Vitruvian Park and get ready to dance the hot summer nights away! The first four Saturdays in August (including this Saturday, August 12th!) the Vitruvian Salsa Festival is coming to Addison. This free event begins at 6 pm and includes live bands and DJs, salsa lessons, food trucks, and more. This Saturday, Zone D’Mambo is bringing the tunes, and you won’t want to miss it! While this event is free, parking is $15.
