This summer is hot, but the dogs of Addison know how to stay cool! Addison dog owners captured their pups enjoying the summer sun for the 2022 Dog Days of Summer Contest, and readers voted for their favorites. This year’s winner is… Bijou!
Meet our first-place winner, Bijou! Bijou is a 6-year-old Pitbull/Aussie Shepherd mix who “likes to do whatever her owner does whether it is watching tv on the couch, eating on the patio at one of the many restaurants she visits, riding in the car, going on long walks, or even nudging all of the leaves of the plants with her nose when her owner is gardening.” This spotted white and black pup is photographed on a patio somewhere in Addison.
