If you love yoga and goats, we have a fantastic event in May! You are invited to Goat Yoga at Addison Circle Park, where attendees will participate in various yoga exercises while surrounded by goats in cozy sweaters. Proceeds from this class directly benefit Goat Yoga Dallas’ local non-profit initiatives and their animals.
This unique event combines yoga’s serenity with goats’ adorable quirkiness. The goats are excited to be around people and will graze and jump around (or on) you. All of the goats have individual personalities, so be prepared for them to take an interest in you.
The Details
Goat Yoga at Addison Circle Park will occur on Saturday, May 20th, from 10 – 11 AM. Ticket prices range from $20 – $32, and everyone is encouraged to bring their own mat. Goat Yoga Dallas will have large towels, bottled water, sunscreen, bug spray, etc., for all attendees. They ask that guests not enter the fenced-off area any earlier than 15 minutes before their scheduled class time. There will be time after class for taking pictures with the goats and extra socializing with other guests.
Anyone ages five and up can attend, although a participating parent or guardian must accompany minors. It is important to remember that goats are not potty-trained animals – they have been known to nudge, scratch, jump, nibble, and step on attendees. There will be antibacterial wipes and a sanitizing station available. For more information or to purchase tickets, click here.
