Texans have always known that Addison Kaboom Town!® is one of the best fireworks shows in the country, and now the world will know. Today, Texas’ most famed fireworks event was named a winner in the 2023 USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice travel award contest for Best Place to See Fireworks. Addison Kaboom Town!® joins other great fireworks events across the country. The list of winners includes:

Nominees were chosen by a panel of relevant experts that includes a combination of editors from USA TODAY, editors from 10Best.com, relevant expert contributors and sources for both these media and other Gannett properties.
More than a half-million guests pour into Addison to celebrate Addison Kaboom Town!® each July 3, and they fill not only Addison Circle Park but most of Addison’s 200+ restaurants as well. The show is made even more unique by the incredible Addison Airport Airshow which can be seen from anywhere in town.
Special watch parties hosted by many of Addison’s more than 200+ restaurants and 22 hotels offer spectators a unique viewing experience. A list of watch parties will be available on the website closer to the event.
The event is one of the largest gatherings in North Texas and is a real point of pride for the Town of Addison.
“We’re proud to produce one of the world’s most beloved fireworks shows each year,” explained Addison Director of Special Events Abby Morales. “Our team works a full year to create a memorable event that can be seen from anywhere in Addison’s 4.4 square miles.”
Tickets to the limited attendance party in Addison Circle Park are free and will be made available to the public beginning at 10 a.m. on June 21.
