Taste Addison, the iconic festival experience that offers national music artists, top-notch Addison eateries, wine and spirits tastings, activities for the whole family, and more, is approaching quickly! Get ready for an “unforgettable” night, because singer, songwriter, and rapper Swae Lee, known for his wide vocal range and genre-bending performances, will headline Taste Addison’s Friday night musical lineup.
Best known for being half of the musical duo Rae Sremmurd, which found No. 1 with its song “Black Beatles,” Lee is also known for partnering with other artists for songs including “Sunflower” with Post Malone, “Unforgettable” with French Montana and “Close to Me” with Ellie Goulding and Diplo. He’s also earned success in his own right, with songs like 2020’s “Dance Like No One’s Watching.”
The Best-in-DFW festival, which dates back to 1993, will kick off at 6 p.m. Friday, June 2, with the Southern sounds of Tyler Kinchen & The Right Pieces at 6:30 p.m. followed by a rousing set by crowd-pleaser Emerald City Band at 8:45 p.m. before Lee takes the stage at 10:45 p.m.
Of course, Taste Addison wouldn’t be Taste Addison without the delicious food! Plenty of Addison eateries, including LORO, May Dragon Chinese Restaurant, Table 13, Nate’s Seafood and Steakhouse, and so many more, will be offering small bites for $5 or less with full-sized items.
