A brand new musical is coming to Addison this spring! Outcry Theatre will be bringing the classic story of Anne of Green Gables to the stage from March 17 through March 26.
Performances will take place at the Studio Theater at Addison Theatre Center. Based on the famous book by L.M Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables is the tale of a brainy 11-year-old girl named Anne Shirley. Anne, an orphan, is sent to live with two siblings who help raise her and end up learning some valuable lessons from her.
The Outcry Theatre has a mission of encouraging and celebrating youth through the arts. According to their website, the theatre “focuses on developing stellar performances and exceptional storytelling.”
The very first performance of this fresh new musical begins at 7:30 p.m. on March 17. Tickets can be purchased online and at the door starting at $10 for general admission. Premium reserved seating is also available for $20.
