#2. Sidecar Social

Start your year off at Sidecar Social! Sidecar Social has over 20,000 square feet of space to lounge, listen to live music, sing karaoke, and play games like bocce ball and corn hole. The restaurant has an indoor lounge space as well as a patio with plenty of seating and heaters. Happy hour is every Monday through Friday from 11 am – 6 pm, and deals include $4 call drinks and ½ off house wine by the glass. #4. Ida Claire

On chilly days, Southern comfort food is a go-to. Ida Claire is known for its Southern comfort classics, including chicken & waffles, shrimp & grits, and Nashville hot chicken. Vegetarians can indulge in Nashville cauliflower, the meat-free version of their hot chicken. Stop by for dinner until 10 pm, or get in as early as 9 am on the weekends for their brunch menu. 


#5. Nate’s Seafood & Steakhouse

Come for the Crawfish and stay for the live music every Thursday and Sunday at Nate’s Seafood! Thursdays feature a rotating live blues artist starting at 7:00 pm, and Sundays are an open mic. Just show up with your instrument between 7pm and 11 pm, and ask to be added to the schedule! While jamming to the blues, enjoy a $3 Pacifico or Heineken bottle, or a $3 Modelo pint on Sundays and Thursdays.
