Raise a stein, because Addison Oktoberfest is back! This Texan twist on a German classic brings food, music, and plenty of beer to Addison Circle Park from September 15 through 18. Put on your lederhosen and dirndls, and get ready for an amazing celebration September 16-19 at Addison Circle Park, hosted by the Town of Addison.Â
Addison Oktoberfest is an authentic representation of the original festival in Munich. Multiple tents and biergartens are spread throughout the festival grounds, offering attendees multiple experiences and activities. Partyhalle is an open-air tent featuring a dance floor and over 1,000 seats to view the elevated stage. Draught Haus Biergarten, Kleinhalle, and Paulaner Biergarten are the spots to get beer and brats. Draught Haus plays the big football games on the outdoor screen, Kleinhalle is a relaxing vibe with live entertainment, and Paulaner is located centrally and is the place to be for watching festival games. Kids will enjoy Kinderzelt, where they can participate in free, hands-on crafts or get a complimentary airbrush tattoo.
The delicious German eats at Oktoberfest include brats, strudels, spaetzle, and more. Other vendors include Velvet Taco, Pop’s Kettlecorn, i Fratelli Pizza, and more. When you’re feeling thirsty, grab a 2022 official commemorative stein and fill it up with your choice of German beer.
Later, go shopping in the Marketplatz. Here, you can buy authentic German apparel, unique homemade items, and specialty gifts from dozens of vendors. At the Festival Merch Booth, you can score commemorative Addison Oktoberfest t-shirts, steins, hat pins, and more.
