My first meal after moving to the U.S. as a kid was a cheeseburger. I remember vividly biting into it and experiencing these new flavors and almost being overwhelmed because I was tasting what I had seen so many times in movies and TV shows. I can safely say that burgers have been my favorite food ever since. Whether it’s a classic meat, cheese, and buns burger or something a little fancier with some kick to it, I am always up for a burger.
If you are looking for a burger with the works, look no further than Hopdoddy Burger Bar in the Village at the Parkway. If you like a burger with some heat to it, El Diablo is the one you want. I’m talking pepper jack cheese, caramelized onions, Salsa Roja, chipotle aioli, and habaneros and serrano peppers coming together for a delicious burger. I also highly recommend the Double Bacon Jam burger because if there is bacon on the menu, I have to have it. www.hopdoddy.com
Chef Kenny Bowers at Kenny’s Wood Fired Grill has created a great menu that features dishes we all like to eat and included in that are a couple of delicious burger options. The first option is his Bacon Cheddar Burger which comes with white cheddar, smoked bacon, and mayo. The second one is the Mushroom Brie Burger which comes with brie fondue, sautéed mushrooms, and truffle mayo. If you have ever visited one of Chef Bowers restaurants, you know that the food is amazing and that you will be treated like royalty. www.kennyswoodfiredgrill.com
