Things are heating up this summer in Addison, and we’re not talking about the temperature! Every Saturday night in August, Vitruvian Park is hosting the Vitruvian Salsa Festival! This week, Tumbaka takes the stage to perform live music for the event. Bring your dancing shoes to Vitruvian Park’s Amphitheater for live music, salsa lessons, gourmet food trucks, and more. This week’s festival takes place on August 20 and runs from 6 pm to 10 pm with salsa lessons at 6:30.
#6. Goat Yoga Addison Circle

Dallas County Goat Yoga is bringing its crew of goats to Addison Circle Park this Saturday, August 20 at 9 am. Come and get your yoga on while the goats graze and jump around (or on!) you. Tickets start at $20 and are available for purchase here. Bring your own mat and get ready for an exciting and unique workout experience. There will be time set aside after class to socialize and take photos with the goats.
#7. Addison After Dark – Pints & Pups

Calling all dog lovers—your four-legged friend can join in the fun at the Addison After Dark Pints & Pups event on August 20. There’s something for every member of the family at this festival dedicated to dogs and their parents. Canine-focused activities include a pop-up dog park and “arfs” and crafts, while two-legged guests can enjoy live music, food trucks, and complimentary beer sampling from local craft breweries!
