#7. Kaboom Town

Addison’s most explosive event of the year returns THIS Sunday, July 3rd. Since 1985, the Town of Addison has been hosting Kaboom Town to celebrate the 4th of July. Each year, approximately 500,000 guests from across the country come together at Addison Circle Park to view the airshow put on by Addison Airport, enjoy food and drink, live music, and of course, the spectacular fireworks show. The event starts at 5 pm on Sunday, July 3rd and ends at 11 pm at Addison Circle Park. General admission is free, and hotel packages start at $99.
