A chain restaurant with over 15 locations nationwide, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream is a fantastic place to get a frozen treat. All their ice creams have a nice, smooth texture and buttercream body; there are no dyes, off-the-shelf-mixes, emulsifiers, or synthetic flavorings in any of the flavors – just straight up deliciousness. Another widely popular ice cream shop is Creamistry, and it’s easy to see why. People keep coming back for more with its unique ice cream-making process and ingredients. Creamistry takes special care in putting items on their menu; using premium liquid nitrogen ice cream, the shop makes all their flavors in-house and fresh to order. The menu is fully customizable with traditional ice cream and vegan and non-dairy options. Some delicious flavors include Birthday Cake, Madagascar Vanilla Bean, and Cookie Monster.Â

If frozen yogurt is more your thing, we recommend heading to Sweet Frog Premium Frozen Yogurt. Here, you can create your unique frozen treat; combine several decadent soft-serve yogurt flavors with as many toppings as you like! The Addison location has a couple of featured flavors, Scoop’s Cake Batter and Scoop’s Sugar Cookie, in addition to classic ones such as Red Velvet and Strawberry Banana. Bright, lively, and colorful, Sweet Frog is a great place to bring your family or hang out with friends.Â

They might be a cookie shop primarily, but Tiff’s Treats also offers ice cream to go with their warm cookies. Frosty and tasty, you choose to have a bowl of ice cream on the side or put the ice cream in between two cookies to make a sammie. Their menu is not as extensive as the other places, but they have the classic Texan favorite: Blue Bell Ice Cream. Available in Vanilla, Chocolate, Cookies n’ Cream, and Mint flavors, you’re sure to make your taste buds sing with a nice dessert from Tiff’s Treats.Â
