Today we want to take you on a foodie trip to some of our favorite Asian food spots in Addison and the Corridor. We are talking Sushi, spicy dishes, Korean fried chicken, traditional Chinese cuisine, and Thai. We want to help you expand your palate and try out some amazing cuisine. There is a rule in our house that ‘You must try a new dish at least once.’ That is exactly what we want you to do. Try out at least one of the following places and let us know how much you loved it.
Let’s start out with something very dear to my family, Chinese fried rice. This is a dish that has been part of our family since before I was born. As fate would have it, we have several amazing places right here in the Corridor serving amazing Chinese cuisine. May Dragon prides itself on making it fresh to order. They have also won the 2021 Readers’ Choice Award for Favorite Chinese Restaurant. Try the Vegetable Fried Rice, Pork Fried Rice, or my favorite Combination Fried Rice. of course, we cannot fail to mention their amazing Wonton and Hot and Sour soups among others. www.maydragon.com
Love spicy Thai dishes? You have to try out Thai Box. My go-to here is the Pad Thai with chicken, medium spicy, and an order of spring rolls. Their Orange Chicken is also amazing, and their appetizer menu features all the classics! www.thaiboxusa.com
For Sushi, you cannot go wrong with Mr. Sushi. They have been around since 1984 serving our community the best Sushi around. They stay open a little bit later than most restaurants so when you have that craving for authentic Sushi and Japanese food, pay them a visit. www.mrsushidallas.com
Last but most certainly not least is Bonchon Addison. Bonchon is serving up their famous crunchy double-fried chicken and signature sauces. ‘Bonchon’ in Korean means ‘My hometown’ and when you visit, you will know why their food is so special and why we are excited that they are in our hometown. Whether you go with wings, strips, drums, or one of their delicious Bonchon Bowls, you will not be disappointed! Check out their menu for more on their website, www.bonchon.com
