January is right around the corner and so is National Blood Donor Month!
During the holidays, many people stop donating due to the cold weather and because many blood drives get snowed out in the north. There is usually a shortage of blood during the cold months because of this. Regardless, blood is urgently needed for those patients that are in need.
Here are some places where you can donate blood in Addison and the Corridor.
Carter Bloodcare – Addison Donor Center
Located at 3955 Belt Line Rd, Carter BloodCare Center is accepting donations! They accept whole blood donations, double red cell donations, plasma donations and platelet donations. This center is open six days a week, Monday-Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is open Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This season, Carter Bloodcare will be giving the chance of winning a Chevrolet Spark to those who donate blood between Nov. 22, 2021 to Jan. 7, 2021. To set an appointment for a donation at this location, you can click here.
Carter Bloodcare – Preston Valley Donor Center
Carter Bloodcare’s second location in Addison is located at 12829 Preston Rd. Suite 427. This location center is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those who donate at this location will also be submitted for a chance to win a Chevy Spark. Donors can also get a $10 Amazon Gift Card and/or a Carter Bloodcare Blanket.
Scott + Reid General Contractors Blood Drive

International Plaza Towers Blood Drive
End National Blood Donor Month with a donation! Internattional Plaza Towers located at 14241 Dallas Parkway will be hosting a blood drive on Jan. 25, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. To set an appointment click here.
