Where to Work Remotely in AddisonAs a result of the pandemic, more people are working from home than ever. While it is great to walk into a different room at your house for work, sometimes it is nice to go somewhere else to be productive. If you’re looking for some places where you can go to work, here is a list of areas nearby that we highly recommend.

Ascension Coffee

Just off the Dallas North Tollway is this adorable little coffee shop. Ascension Coffee is an inviting and stress-free environment where you can go to work – and get some caffeine while you’re at it! The restaurant also sells bags of their tasty coffee, so if you love the taste, you can bring some of it home. Ascension Coffee is open Sunday – Saturday, 6:30 AM – 5 PM. 

Astoria Caffe and Wine Bar

When your stomach is growling, and you want to eat while you work, Astoria Caffe and Wine Bar is the place to go. Not only do they offer coffee and breakfast food, but appetizers, soups, salads, and sandwiches. The Caffe has a warm and relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for a working environment. The hours are Sunday – Thursday, 9 AM – Midnight, and Friday and Saturday, 9 AM – 1:45 AM.

Common Desk

For groups looking for a high-quality, community-oriented space or individuals who want a nice, quiet room to work in, Common Desk has it all. Common Desk is a coworking space with multiple locations all across the DFW Metroplex. The Addison location offers membership and rental options; available areas include team suites, private offices, desks, a conference room, and a podcast studio. Addison Public Library

If you want a quiet place to work, go to the Addison Public Library. There are plenty of spaces available for you to set up shop. There are computers for public use, meeting rooms, study rooms, a creative studio, and plenty of tables, desks, and chairs. While the rooms are first-come, first-serve, you can reserve a room up to a week in advance. The library’s hours are 9 AM – 9 PM Monday – Thursday, 9 AM – 5 PM Friday and Saturday, and 1 – 5 PM Sunday.
