With Halloween less than two weeks away, you might be trying to figure out what you want to dress up. While ordering a costume online is a great option, it might come in too late. Fortunately, there are a few places in the Addison Corridor where you can go to find pieces of your outfit.
Michael’s and Hobby Lobby
These two craft stores are a great option, especially if you want to make and design your costume. There are all sorts of supplies ready for you, from bandanas for a pirate costume or Rosie the Riveter to t-shirts of all colors. If you want to make a bubble bee headpiece or cat whiskers, you can buy some pipe cleaners and pom-poms or pretty fake flowers and greenery if you’re going to be a fairy. The possibilities are endless – all you need is an idea!
This place is a no-brainer – it has Halloween in its name! While there are a wide variety of costumes that you can buy, if you are looking for pieces to help complete your ensemble, there are plenty of those as well. From wigs, masks, makeup, and hats to accessories, undergarments, weapons, and armor, this store has it. As a bonus, they also have a 20% coupon that you can use on a single item. You can find that HERE.
If you are looking for something inexpensive and easy, I suggest Walmart Supercenter. They don’t have as many crafting supplies, but they have a much more extensive selection of clothing than the other stores listed above. There are all sorts of t-shirts and tops, socks, pants, and jackets/coats. If you need a simple prop for your costume, you can find those here as well.
Petco has costumes for dogs, cats, and small pets for those of you who have their furry friends as part of your costume. They also have matching pet and owner costumes if you want to do that instead. Pets are an essential part of your family and so, why shouldn’t they have a cute outfit too? The store also has plenty of cute toys and delicious treats to give your pet on Halloween.
