“DART makes it easy and affordable to enjoy your day at the fair,” stated a recent press release. “Just ride the DART Rail Green Line to Fair Park Station, located on Parry Avenue at the entrance to the fairgrounds, or MLK, Jr. Station,located south of R.B. Cullum Blvd. and convenient to the MLK fairground entrance (Gate 6) and the Cotton Bowl Stadium.”
Start your journey at the Addison Transit Center, located at 4925 Arapaho Road in Addison. There are 300 available free public parking spaces to leave your car as you go on a ride. Then, take a bus to the West Transfer Center, then get off at Fitzhugh at 2nd – E – NS, to walk to Fair Park. Find more ways to get to Fair Park here.
Don’t forget: there are now several ways to pay for your DART fare. You can buy a pass with your credit or debit card by tapping your contactless card to a reader on a DART Rail platform or bus prior to boarding. You can use your mobile device to pay through Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay. Or, you can use the GoPass app or Tap Card to pay before you go.
