What’s Back in Style and Where to Find Them in the Corridor

We know side parts and skinny jeans are out (thanks, Gen Z!), but what is in right now? The styles we’ve been seeing all over Instagram and TikTok are straight from the ‘90s – fuzzy clips, silk shirts, statement sleeves, and wide-leg jeans. Luckily, there are plenty of places to shop these styles right here in the Corridor. Keep reading for the 4-1-1 on what pieces you need this season and exactly where to find them.

Fuzzy Hair Clips at Francesca’s

Scrunchies are still in, obvs, but the coolest hair accessory this summer is fuzzy hair clips, which you can find at Francesca’s inside Village on the Parkway. The Roula Fuzzy Claw Clip ($9.80) is a soft, fuzzy light pink over a claw clip. So next time you pull your hair back to escape the heat, you’ll look ultra-chic while doing it.

Silk Shirts at Target

Remember Rachel and Monica’s cute silk tops from “Friends”? Well now this sexy style is back and prettier than ever. I love the silk tops at Target, like this Wild Fable Women’s Cropped Short Sleeve Tie-Front Flutter Top ($20). It has a tie to cinch the shirt together under the bust, while still showing skin on your stomach and décolletage. It comes in rose, black, and taupe.

Statement Sleeves at American Eagle

While straight-back sleeves and fitted, baby tee-style sleeves will never truly go out of style, this season the coolest thing is statement sleeves. You can find many different shirt options to fit your style at American Eagle inside Galleria Dallas. The AE Flutter-Sleeve Ruched Top ($34.95) is made with a cute green mesh, with a v-neck, ruched details, and soft flutter sleeves. The AE Puff-Sleeve Crop Top ($39.95) is another great option, with a square neck and to-the-elbow puff sleeves that is super cute.

Wide-Leg Jeans

High-waisted jeans that are loosely fitted along the waist and thighs, then flare out under the knee are definitely back right now (yes, you can officially retire those skinnies). You can find this wide-leg jean trend at Anthropologie. I like Pilcro The Annie Wide-Leg Jeans ($128), which has a comfy fit but is still fashionable and picture-ready. Wear with your favorite sandals and a flowy shirt tucked in.
