I love spicy food. The spicier the better, I say. Sometimes I go a little overboard, and I can’t feel my tongue or my face is covered in sweat, but somehow, I cannot stop eating that spicy dish. It’s hard to describe, but I love spicy dishes. Taqueria style salsa roja on tacos and all the heat in Cajun food! I can’t get enough.

Chuy’s has one of my favorite sauces when it comes to Tex-Mex, their Boom-Boom sauce is not only tasty but it also adds a good amount of heat to whatever you put it on. Grab an order of the Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom enchiladas to go and try it out! Of course, we cannot talk about Chuy’s without mentioning their Hatch Green Chile sauce! This is another favorite sauce, especially drenched over a steak burrito.
Taqueria La Ventana serves authentic Mexican street tacos, and with that comes the delicious salsas that you can add to your tacos. I’m a fan of their Suadero (chopped brisket) tacos, add some fresh cilantro, onions, and top it off with salsa roja and you got yourself a delicious taco. Bonus, they also have delicious breakfast tacos, quesadillas, and burritos. Get your day started with a delicious spicy La Ventana breakfast dish!
Looking for some spicy wings? Pluckers is all you need! Bone-in or boneless and lots of different sauces to try! Of course, you have to grab a few in the classic buffalo hot flavor but venture out a little and try some of the many other spicy flavors available that you won’t find anywhere else. The Maple Chipotle is a sweet syrup glaze with a delicious chipotle kick to them. They also have spicy versions of some classic wing flavors like Spicy Ranch, Spicy BBQ, Spicy Garlic Parmesan, and Spicy Lemon Pepper.
Nate’s Seafood and Steakhouse serves up delicious Cajun cuisine, from dirty rice to gumbo to crawfish. Check out the “From The Boil” menu and choose your flavor and heat for their delicious crawfish. Rinsed, Regular or Turbo are your options on the amount of heat for the crawfish. The dirty rice at Nate’s is very tasty and you can also ask for a little more heat on it if you like.
