The absence of our favorite events is another effect of the pandemic that is easing up. This month, we are seeing the return of Goat Yoga at Addison Circle! The fun fitness event that features cute and rambunctious goats will resume on May 22 and run from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Goat Yoga, an activity that is considered to be fun, therapeutic and a great workout, is hosted by the Addison Athletic Club. Participants should bring a yoga mat or a towel for the practice. Since the event will be outside, masks are not required, but social distancing is encouraged.
Children over the age of 5-years-old are welcome at Goat Yoga. It’s a great activity to introduce the practice of yoga, as well as the gentleness of the animals. Anyone that attends should be aware that the goats will be friendly and come close to you while doing yoga, even touching and nuzzling you. Comfy clothes such as leggings or biker shorts are recommended as well.
Tickets to Addison Circle’s Goat Yoga can be purchased here for $34.
