Pretty Accent Pieces for Your Home

Spring cleaning means freshening up your home décor as well! Make a bold statement with a new mirror or keep it simple with chic bookends or soft-smelling candles. Either way, there are many pretty home accent pieces available in the North Dallas Corridor. Below are a few of my favorite options to spruce up your space.

Accent Pillows

Adding new accent pillows to your couch, entryway bench, or bed is the quickest way to restyle a room. I love these Styria Pillows ($47.95-$79.95) from Crate & Barrel, which are a soft velvet that comes in shades of amber, light pink, turquoise blue, and light gray.

Wall Decor

Inspirational quotes to elegant pieces can all be found in the Corridor. I like this Box Sign ($16) from Francesca’s, which features colorful flowers and the words, “There are so many beautiful reasons to be happy.” For a bigger statement piece, go with the Chippendale Mirror ($390) from Neiman Marcus, containing a lovely, antique-looking gold-leaf finish.

Shelf Pieces

The right accent piece is anything that brings you joy or makes people stop and pay attention to. There are many things that can update your look that fit perfectly on a bookshelf or mantle! These Petrified Wood Bookends ($163.80) from Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams are made with petrified wood and fit together into a perfect half circle. These will add a rustic look to your shelf. Or, go for something striking, like the Michael Aram Cherry Blossom Large Vase ($375), which is a handcrafted stainless steel vase on a pink marble base, designed with beautiful gold and pink cherry blossoms. Finally, finish the look with a new candle, like the Meadow Thistle Large Candle Jar ($16.50) from Francesca’s. This pretty pink candle is made with a soy wax blend and features notes of star jasmine, water lily and amber.
