Maybe you have an upcoming job interview or maybe you’re struggling to stay productive during the pandemic. Either way, WaterTower Theatre (WTT) wants to help. That’s why their offering a weekly series called People Skills: A Course for the Things They Didn’t Teach Us on Mondays through May 10.
“We’ve all seen job postings that say, ‘must have great people skills’ or ‘works well with others,’” stated WTT’s website. “Many people, at some point in their career, have wondered…what does that even mean? How do you get better at public speaking and presentations? Where do you get the skills needed to problem solve and think creatively? We believe that all of these, and more, are things you can learn using principles gathered from theatre!”
This free, interactive online class is taught by Associate Producer Elizabeth Kensek along with the help of several guest artists who have built careers in both theater and business. Sign up for as few or as many as you want.
