One of the most versatile dishes a restaurant can have on its menu is nachos. Whether you like them with fajita meat, chicken, or simply cheese and jalapeños, you can’t go wrong with a plate of nachos to share with friends. Let’s take a cruise around Addison and check out some of the delicious nachos around.
Let’s start at the Village on the Parkway.
Gloria’s Latin Cuisine serves up a few different options, chicken fajita, beef fajita, grilled shrimp, and the Grandisimos (chicken and beef fajita.) All served with Monterey Jack cheese, black beans, guacamole, and sour cream. These nachos go great with any of the margaritas on the menu by the way.
The Hub has been one of the area’s go-to places for sports and fun since 2009. With more than 20 TVs and 2 giant projectors to make sure you never miss a down, pitch, or dunk and open every day from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., you might find yourself hanging out here a lot. So while you are here, try their Signature Nachos. “Crispy Tortilla chips piled high with diced chicken, zesty queso, melted Jack, and Cheddar cheese. We include Salsa, Sour Cream & Jalapeños on request for no additional charge.” Or how about the Smokehouse Nachos? They load the Signature Nachos with your choice of tender, slow-cooked pork or brisket, thick-cut bacon, jack, and cheddar cheese, and then drizzled with BBQ sauce and Jalapeños. Simply delicious.
When you step inside Sidecar Social you know what you are in for. Endless amount of fun, live music, and great food. Sidecar Social’s starter menu offers up a couple of amazing nachos. The Ahi Tuna Nachos made with Wonton chips and blackened Ahi tuna topped with wasabi crema, a sweet soy glaze, and topped with cilantro and sesame seeds is quite different than what you may have come to know about nachos. But they are definitely tasty! The Smoked Burnt End Nachos are also made with Wonton chips and then topped with smoked brisket, tri-cheese blend, black beans, pico de gallo, and BBQ crema, and guacamole. Whichever you choose, you will not be disappointed. Visit their website for the full menu as well as all you need to know about their arcade games, live music, and more.
El Rincon in Addison Circle is a locally owned restaurant serving authentic Mexican cuisine. Try their Nachos Locos. You get your choice of ground beef, shredded chicken, or brisket to go with queso, pico de gallo, black beans, jalapeños, chipotle dressing, and served on a bed of chips. The Rincon Nachos are made with either beef fajita, chicken fajita, or ground beef and topped with refried beans and cheddar cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo, and jalapeños. Finally, Papo’s Brisket Nachos are made with black beans, Monterey cheese and served with guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, and jalapeños. Check out the full menu on their website.
