Dining Options For The Big Game

Grab some delicious tacos from Taqueria La Ventana for the big game.

Well, I am writing to you guys once again from the outside looking in. Another down year for Cowboys Nation. What looked like it could be a promising year was marred by an awful injury to our starting quarterback and it was all downhill from there. The dream of another Super Bowl championship escaped us once again. This year we get to see Tom Brady in what seems to be his 20th Super Bowl appearance.

But hey, all is not lost, we can still enjoy what is shaping up to be an amazing game this weekend! Whether you are watching the game at home or watching it with friends at one of the restaurants in Addison, there’s no reason why it can’t be a fun day. Super Bowl Sunday is all about wings, cold drinks, and so much more!

Let’s start at Sidecar Social and their “Go. All. Out. For Super Bowl Sunday!” Here is everything you need to know about their Super Bowl Watch Party:

Catch all the action on one of their giant 18-foot TVs! They will have special Super Bowl Beer Bucket Specials. Make sure to call and reserve your spot in advance by booking one of their private rooms or booths! All other seating will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Buffet with 3 appetizers
  • 10 Drink Tickets
  • Three 70” TVs in each room with lounge seating

If you are going to be watching the game at home and ordering food, you may get a little something extra should the game go into overtime thanks to Buffalo Wild Wings! According to a press release by Buffalo Wild Wings’ parent company, Inspire Brands, “If the U.S. professional football game taking place on February 7, 2021, in Tampa, FL is extended into an overtime period, Buffalo Wild Wings will make available one free order of boneless or traditional 6 count chicken wings to all patrons who visit any of our participating U.S. or Canada locations on February 22, 2021, between the hours of 4-7 p.m. local time.”

The Back 9 is a sports bar and grill serving delicious food and drinks. But not just any food, their menu features a variety of pizzas, burgers, and more, all made with fresh ingredients. The Back 9 also features a full-service bar, both indoors and outdoors with 15 beers on tap. As if that wasn’t enough, they also have a bar and arcade games, which makes this a great place to spend the afternoon enjoying the game. On Super Bowl Sunday The Back 9 will be featuring half-price pizzas during the game along with drink specials. Make sure to follow them on Facebook and visit their website for more information.

The Hub Sports Bar and Grill is ready for you to come and enjoy the game with everyone! With over 20 TVs, two giant projectors and so much more, The Hub Sports Bar and Grill is a great place to catch the game and enjoy a great drink.

If you are not up to going out just yet, don’t worry there is always curbside pickup or delivery available to ensure you have great food as you enjoy the game at home.

Log on to Chuy’s website and order one of their family meal kits. They come with everything you need to feed the family. From their fajita kit which can feed up to 4 or the Taco Kit which comes with your choice of 6 or 12 tacos, or if you love their enchiladas, try the Peace, Love & Enchiladas Kit. Of course, their main menu is also available for pick up.

Looking for a delicious pizza to enjoy during the game? Zoli’s has you covered with their curbside pickup option. My favorite is the Christian Pescroni. The Jalapeño pesto on top of this pie is simply amazing and I cannot get enough of it! They also have a “Take and Bake Pizzas” option if you rather bake the pizza at home.

You can never go wrong with tacos. No matter the occasion, tacos are always the right answer and Taqueria La Ventana is ready to serve up delicious tacos for pickup on Super Bowl Sunday. Give them a call at 469-828-2035 and place your order ahead of time. Bistek, barbacoa, pastor, chicken, or veggie tacos, they have them all.

No matter who you are rooting for, whether just football heart is still hurting from another disappointing Cowboys season like mine, let’s try to make the best of it with amazing food and friends beside us. As the old saying goes, “The last thing you lose is hope.” Let’s not lose hope for a turnaround season for our Dallas Cowboys and in the meantime, let’s enjoy what could possibly be Tom Brady’s last game.
