Brunch in Addison

blankIf you have ever listed to the sports radio station, The Ticket, you may have heard a skit they did some time ago describing the eight different meals in a day. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, dunch, dinner, dupper, supper, and sakefast. As you might imagine, “dunch,” “dupper,” and “sakefast” play off the wording of brunch as a funny bit. We will hopefully come around at another time and talk about those meals, but today we are talking brunch.

Typically a weekend meal, brunch consists of a meal with different breakfast items as well as some heavier dishes. Here in Addison, we have plenty of choices when it comes to brunch. All delicious. All amazing. All very tasty.

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery features amazing pancakes like Pineapple Upside Down and Sweet Potato, and even offers vegan and gluten-free options. Because let’s face it, how can you say no to those amazing options? They also have a Benedict’s menu with options like the Chile Verde Benedict made with green chile sauced tortillas and melted cheese, choice of slow-cooked pulled pork or barbacoa style beef, topped with poached cage-free eggs, green chile hollandaise, Pico de Gallo, and Cotija cheese. Or try the Everything Bacon Sensation sandwich. We can never say no to anything with bacon. Check out the full menu on their website.

Try Norma’s Café for a delicious brunch meal throughout the week. Their Big Eaters dish is an 8 0z. ribeye steak, three eggs and served with a cinnamon roll and hash browns or grits, and homemade biscuits. If you love omelets, try one from their Omelets menu like the Florentine or Texas Trainer’s Scramble. Visit their website to see the whole menu.

Kenny’s Wood Fired Grill offers a special brunch menu on the weekend. On Saturday and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., enjoy Kenny’s Benedict, chicken and waffles, or delicious bacon and egg burger. The Kenny’s Benedict gives you an option of home-smoked salmon, short rib, or crab cake. Check out the full menu and make your reservation online on their website.
