Winter Lipstick Trends

A new year means new trends! Give your makeup tray a new makeover, starting with lipsticks. These are some winter lipstick trends that you need to add to your makeup routine. Find all of the lipsticks in the North Dallas Corridor.

Red Lipstick

Red lips give that last pop of color that a makeup look needs! The classic bright red has always been an all-time favorite, and it can be worn with every outfit. Need an extra boost of confidence? Red lipstick is your best friend for this. It is spotted frequently on congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and may other celebrities. Wear it on an important meeting for work, or on a night-out with your girls or your boo! One of our favorite red lipstick is Mangrove from MAC, which gives you matte bright red lips. Find it at Macy’s.

Mauve Lipstick

The perfect type of pink for lips, not too bright and not too dark. Mauve is one of the best nude colors and it looks great with anything. It almost looks like it is your lip color! Pair it with a nude eyeshadow or some simple eyeliner. For a nude mauve, use Dusty Rose by Anastasia! It is smudge-proof, water resistant and it’ll last you all day! Find it at Ulta.

Ombre Lipstick

Ombre lipstick has quickly become a phenomenon over Tik Tok. This trend looks super cute and it gives a sprinkle of color but also makes your lips look natural (depending on the base color that’s used). Start with outlining your lips with your base color, then adding a lighter color after. For a shinier look, use clear gloss over it!

Lip Glosses

Glosses have been prominent this past few years, and they’re going into 2021 strong. Glossy and shiny lips are a most this year. A personal favorite is Radiant by Victoria’s Secret. It’s super shiny and can be worn with literally anything! Gloss looks great with a full face of makeup, natural makeup and even no makeup at all.

Natural Lipstick

Natural rose-looking lipsticks have gained in popularity over the years! They’re perfect for the natural no-makeup makeup look. Use the closest lip color to your natural one and it’ll look completely perfect! You can never go wrong with a natural pink.
