Happy 2021 everyone! Although we are a few days into the new year, this year still has that new car smell right? Today we are talking about eating a little bit healthier and hopefully staying on that path throughout the whole year. In particular, we are talking about low-carb meals and keto. Of all the different diets or eating habits, this has been one of the easier ones for us to stay with. It takes a little bit of planning but we have found lots of delicious options when it comes to low-carb and even when we go out, it’s easy to find low-carb and keto-friendly menu choices.
One of my favorites, because I’m usually heading from one meeting to another or out and about running errands, is In-N-Out. Yes, the burger place. From their “Secret Menu” order any burger “Protein Style” and they will remove the bun and wrap your burger in lettuce leaves. I love bread, but this burger is perfect even without the bun.
When we started looking at options to eat healthier and lose some unwanted weight, I never would’ve figured out doctor would tell us to eat lots of meat. But when she did, I did not complain because it meant we didn’t have to give up some of our favorite restaurants!

With authentic Gauchos (Brazilian Cowboys) serving you amazing grilled meats tableside, it’s truly a beautiful dining experience. We’re talking filet mignon, Picanha, lamb and so much more! You will be more than satisfied with every visit and more importantly, you won’t be breaking your carb count for the day.
Of course, when you head out to one of Addison’s restaurants, check the menu for a keto or low-carb option. You can also modify your order and ask for grilled vegetables instead of the fries or mashed potatoes.
