New Year’s Eve Dining in Addison

2020 is mercifully coming to an end. What has been one of the most challenging years in history is ending and as we enter 2021, we hope for a better year. What better way to celebrate the end of the year and the beginning of a new one than with an amazing feast? I’ve always said that food makes everything better. When I’m feeling down, a cup of Cuban coffee and some pastries lift my spirit up. When I’m happy or after the end of a project, going out for a delicious steak dinner always hits the spot. And this year, after all that we have been through, I think we deserve to have an amazing dinner. What do you think?

Chef Richard Chamberlain has once again prepared an amazing prix-fixe menu for New Year’s Eve at Chamberlain’s Steak and Fish. It is a three-course meal for just $79.95 a person featuring some very tasty dishes. Check out the menu below!

Zoli’s NY Pizza may have posted one of the best ways to celebrate the end of this year:

“Send off this dumpster fire of a year with the most YOLO-inspired meal of your 2020: the Gigante burger from Zoli’s!!” Zoli’s will be opened from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, so come take advantage of this insane offer! Their pizzas are amazing, but what you may not know is that their burgers are out of this world as well! Here’s what the offer means: “Upgrade your favorite Zoli’s O.D. Burger “Gigante-Style”…FO’ FREE!! That means we’ll take our double meat & double cheeseburger and add a heapin’ helpin’ of soppressata marmalade and a slab of fried mozzarella.” Available for dine-in or takeout only, order online. Oh, and if you are wondering what pizza to get, my favorite is the Christian Pescroni. Made with tomato sauce, double pepperoni, and jalapeño pesto, it has a good kick to it that will not disappoint.

Over at Norma’s Café, they have some fun menu items planned to ring in the New Year, including free black eyed peas for good luck, a specialty menu for prosperity, and even a chance to win chicken fried steak for a year and Family Pack meals with a free Mile High Pie! Listen, for as hard as 2020 has been, winning Norma’s chicken fried steak for a year would make me forget just about all of it! Check out the full menu on their website.

Whatever this year has been for you – good or bad or somewhere in between – let’s celebrate the end of 2020 with good food, and let’s start the New Year with a renewed hope for better things, and of course, lots of amazing food in the future.

Happy New Year!
