Want to perfect your culinary skills and impress your friends and family with a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner? Or, maybe you are avoiding the huge get-together this year, but you still want to have a Thanksgiving meal in your home. You’re in luck! The Addison Athletic Club is hosting an online cooking class at 3 p.m. Nov. 10 to teach participants how to make a Thanksgiving dinner from their Instant Pot!
The Flavors of Fall Live Online Cooking Class is hosted by the Addison Athletic Club and presented by Bon Vivant. It will take place over Zoom, where you can learn how to expertly prepare turkey breast stuffed with mushrooms and walnuts, mashed potatoes, gravy, fall salad with pears and blue cheese, and a delicious pumpkin flan.
Tickets are $30 per person to register. When you do, you will be emailed a Zoom link and a list of ingredients that you will need before cooking begins. Make sure you have a clean workspace, good internet connection and the entire list of ingredients (and the Instant Pot!) before the class begins at 3 p.m. Nov. 10.
Another way the Addison Athletic Club is helping people with their Thanksgiving dinners is through their Senior Thanksgiving Dinner Drive-Thru from 3:30-5 p.m. Nov. 19. Seniors (age 50 and older) can drive by and get a pre-packaged Thanksgiving dinner from Boston Market that is hot and ready to take home and enjoy. Call 972-450-7048 to reserve your meal today.
This year, Thanksgiving dinner will be a breeze, thanks to the Addison Athletic Club! We can’t wait to eat turkey and relax this holiday season.
