Fall Dining in Addison

blankThe fall season brings about not only a change in the weather, but also a change in the food we eat. Fall brings the State Fair of Texas, pumpkin flavor everything, and so much more.

Let’s start with breakfast, after all, it is the most important meal of the day.

The Original Pancake House is ready with all things pumpkin. Pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin crepes filled with pumpkin cream and topped with pecans and pumpkin drizzle, and pumpkin-flavored coffees are on their menu for a limited time! They are open for dine-in or if you prefer, order online and enjoy at home.

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery is serving their amazing Pumpkin, Pecan Pie Pancakes for a limited time. According to their website, these are filled with vanilla cream cheese and topped with caramel sauce, a drizzle of sweet cream, candied pecans, and powdered sugar. What a delicious way to start the day!

In Texas, the start of fall means the State Fair of Texas. This year because of the pandemic, the State Fair did not take place as usual, however, thanks to different restaurants we are still able to enjoy some of the classic State Fair Foods. At Snuffer’s, try their State Fair features which include Fried Oreos, Chili Cheddar Mini Corn Dogs, Chicken Fried Bacon  and Frito Pie Nachos!

Ruth’s Chris has a special fall menu and wine pours that are perfect for the fall season. The Tomahawk Dinner for Two is a complete meal for two. It includes a starter, entrée, personal sides, and dessert. Choose two starters, enjoy their amazing Tomahawk ribeye, sides and for dessert, Chocolate Sin Cake. For their featured pours they have Nickel & Nickel “CC Ranch” from Rutherford, California, and Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars “Artemis” from Napa, California.

Arthur’s Steakhouse also has a new fall Dinner special for their guests.
