Fall Wardrobe Essentials

Now that September is here, cooler weather is just around the corner. With that comes a change in your wardrobe. As always, there are new trends and styles, but you can never go wrong with the classics. As always, you can find some essentials in the North Dallas Corridor that you can pull out and wear now that fall is here.

In my opinion, one of the best parts of cooler weather is being able to wear boots. It doesn’t matter if they are ankle-high, mid-thigh or knee-high, boots are always a safe bet. They provide extra warmth during the winter months and add instant cuteness to any outfit. Any type of natural color – brown, suede/tan, grey, or black – is always a great choice. Once you have a color, all you need to do is pick the material that you like best, and you have a great accessory for your fall wardrobe.

Whether you wear a trendy fashion scarf or a warm, thick one, scarves are a must-have for the fall. One of the great qualities about scarves is their ability to go with pretty much anything. A white or black top can go with many different colored scarves and be a statement piece or a specific color or pattern-scarf can be the perfect compliment to an outfit.

As a key staple of the cooler months, sweaters are an instant comfort. You can either choose a more form-fitting one that will go great with a pair of jeans or pants or a chunkier, over sized knit that will go great with a skirt or dress. Either way, you have a warm and fashionable outfit that you will want to wear again and again.

Base Layers

Layers are much more common in the fall and can be a great way to style an outfit. They can be anything from short-sleeved tops and tanks to long-sleeve blouses and thin sweaters. You can pair them with a completer piece such as a cardigan or denim jacket or vest. Whatever you choose, you will be sure to stand out in the crowd!
