Oh, Honey! Try These Honey-Flavored Cocktails in the Corridor

Honey is so delicious. It’s perfect on rolls, chicken, desserts, drinks, toast and so much more. This sweet nectar basically makes everything it touches taste better (no wonder Winnie-the-Pooh was so obsessed with it!). National Honey Month is coming up in September, which is the perfect time to drink something with honey in it. Check out a few of my favorite cocktails that include honey, available in the North Dallas Corridor. Oh, honey – you’re going to want to try every single one of these!

Ida Claire

Ida Claire is your go-to spot for honey-flavored drinks – they have four on the menu! Oh Bee-Have is made with vodka, honey, lemon and angostura bitters. Peachy Keene features bourbon, honey, peach and ginger tisane, lemon, egg white and angostura bitters. You can also get Revolver Blood and Honey, a Texas-based wheat ale on draft, or Man Mosa (during brunch on Saturday and Sunday), which is made with bourbon, honey, lemon juice, orange juice, blood and honey.

Sidecar Social

Sip on a fruity, summer drink at Sidecar Social. Order the Strawberry Basil Bee’s Knees, which is made with New Amsterdam gin, honey, lemon, strawberry puree and basil, which is served on the rocks. You can also get a Revolver Blood and Honey on draft, which goes nicely with their honey BBQ chicken wings!

III Forks Steakhouse

Another delightful honey-flavored cocktail is available at III Forks Steakhouse. Get the Bee My Honey, an aromatic cocktail made with Botanist Gin, St. Elder Elderflower Liquer, Monin Honey syrup, pineapple juice and fresh lemon.

Visit Stirr to try the Stirr Signature Old Fashioned. This drink is made with Knob Creek Rye, local honey simple, bruleed chocolate mole and angostura bitters, with an orange peel on ice ball. It’s classy and delicious – the perfect combination.
