Engaging in moderate exercise can give your immune system a boost. You should aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week or 30 minutes, 5 days a week. Examples of moderate exercise include walking, hiking, bicycling, swimming, and jogging. Experts suggest that you do some strength training, such as lifting weights, in addition to cardio. By exercising, you reduce inflammation in the body and help your immune cells regenerate regularly.
While this might not always help your body fight viruses, germs, and diseases, staying hydration is important to your overall health. Staying hydrated is crucial to the prevention of dehydration, headaches and generally feeling poor. It can also hinder your ability to focus, the improvement of mood and physical performance.
