Pools are opening up in Texas, which means one thing: it’s time to go swimsuit shopping! From flirty one pieces to brightly colored bikinis, you will love all the options available in the North Dallas Corridor this season. Whether you are swimming in a public pool or laying out in your backyard, you can do it in style with one of these gorgeous suits on! Keep reading for a few of my favorite trends right now.

Tie-Dye

Wild, unpredictable and nostalgic (kinda like 2020!), tie-dye everything is back, and swimsuits are no exception. This one from Urban Outfitters is $59 and comes in a vibrant orange, pink and purple print. The high-cut hem and low-cut back give this one-piece an unexpectedly sexy edge. Or, go for this bikini from Francesca’s for $34 each for the top and bottom. It comes in a soft, pastel tie-dye of light pink, purple, blue and yellow, with thick straps on the top and fun, strappy cut outs.

Floral

Channel nature with a laidback, floral-print swimsuit this season. Tory Burch makes an amazing one ($258 at Nordstrom), which has a plunge neck, a rushed bodice, a fitted tie and an all-over pink, blue and green paisley print. Or, if you are looking for a more slimming option, go with this Tommy Bahama tankini from Soma ($59.50). This gorgeous sapphire blue top has deep pink flowers and (even better) slimming fabric to accentuate the waist. It is also reversible, so you can go swimming the next day in an all-white swimsuit, with pink and blue flowers.

One-Piece

One-piece swimsuits are all the rage right now, and we aren’t complaining. Especially this year, when the options are anything but boring! I like this fun grassy print from Victoria’s Secret ($72), as it is a bright turquoise and green with a plunging neckline down to the belly button. The completely open back also allows for perfect tanning! Another option is this cute polka dot choice from Francesca’s ($44). It is red with gold foil polka dots, a cut-out circle under the bust and a pretty, strappy back.

Yellow

There’s a reason there is an entire song about a yellow polka dot bikini – yellow is one of the prettiest swimsuit options. It’s the color of sunshine, and therefore, synonymous with summertime.  Go with this itsy bitsy, teeny tiny, yellow polka dot bikini from Urban Outfitters ($42). It is just like the song, with a bra-like top and bottoms with a ruched back to show off your curves nicely.  Who knows? You might just inspire a new song!
