Summer Hair Goals

Long hair. Curly hair. Healthy hair. What are your #HairGoals this summer? After shelter-in-place ended, I couldn’t wait to get a fresh new cut and bright highlights. My goal is to keep my hair blonde and moisturized throughout swimming season. No matter what your goal is, you can achieve it with a little help from these Corridor-based products!

Goal: Hydrated Hair

We are going to be spending a lot of time in the sun over the next few months, which can wreak havoc on your sensitive locks. Combat that with the Kerastase Soleil Nourishing After Sun Hair Cream ($37 from Sephora), which is designed to help moisturize dry, sun-exposed hair while providing anti-humidity protection at the same time. It’s made with coconut water to hydrate, vitamin E to seal out moisture from salt and chlorinated water and reduce breakage, and a UV filter to absorb the UV rays and minimize their impact. Simply work it through hair before going out for all-day protection.

Goal: Long Hair

In addition to eating a proper diet, working out and getting regular trims, you can also use this Bondi Boost Hair Growth Conditioner ($23.95 at Ulta) to help your strands grow. After shampooing, massage this through your hair and let sit for a few minutes. This conditioner features no parabens, silicones or sulphates, and is formulated with peppermint and rosemary oils to provide natural nourishment.

Goal: Perfect, Next Day Hair

Sweat, pool water, humidity and more can make you want to run for the shower multiple times a day, but it’s not always practical (or even healthy) to shampoo your hair too often. If you want the perfect, next day hair without washing it, opt for the Kerastase Fresh Affair Refreshing Dry Shampoo ($36 from Sephora). This is made with rice starch to absorb oil, vitamin E for nourishment and Neroli for a long-lasting fine fragrance. Your hair will feel light and clean for up to 24 hours.

Goal: Curly Hair

Long, summer waves are the epitome of hair goals. Achieve this look with a little help from Redken’s Curvaceous Ringlet ($21 at Ulta). This soft, lotion will give definition, bounce and hold to unruly waves, while providing anti-frizz protection at the same time. If you don’t have natural waves, use the Drybar Mai Tai Spritzer Sea Salt Spray ($25 at Ulta) instead. This is made with natural sea salts, algae, aloe and avocado oil to add matte texture to hair, increase moisture and nourish hair while giving it that loose, beachy look at the same time.

Your perfect hair is within reach!
