This stand-up comedian (real name: Pedro Herrera III) is a rapper, actor, comedian and entrepreneur born to Mexican emigrants who came to the U.S. to achieve the American Dream. According to his bio, he grew up in Houston and entered the music industry in the early 2000s as a premier underground rap artist under the Mexican/Chicano self-parodying alter ego “Chingo Bling,” which is an “over-the-top Mexican cowboy with an outrageous personal style that showed a juxtaposition between hip-hop and the Mexican/Tex-Mex culture.”

Chingo Bling has an innate ability to play with words and satire, earning him fans across the country for his music and stand-up comedy. Throughout it all, he stays true to his Mexican American identity, showcasing a culture that is often overlooked.
