Congratulations to Steven Glickman, who was recently appointed as Addison’s new chief financial officer!Glickman was previously the assistant chief financial officer in Allen and assumed his role in Addison on March 16. Addison conducted a national search to fill the position with help from Strategic Government Resources.
“We are pleased that Steven will be rejoining our team,” said Addison city manager Wes Pierson in a recent press release. “Not only does he have a proven track record, but also he is already familiar with the Town of Addison and the Addison Way, so he will be able to hit the ground running.”
Glickman added, “I am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to be the next chief financial officer of such a vibrant and well-respected organization as Addison.”
Prior to his position in Allen, Glickman served as the assistant finance director in Addison from 2014-2015. He left to become the assistant town manager/chief financial officer at the Town of Trophy Club before joining Allen as its controller. He is a University of North Texas graduate who is active in the Government Finance Association of Texas and is the chair of its Financial Reporting and Regulatory Committee. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Government Finance Officer.
Currently, the Town of Addison’s Finance department is closed to the public but still operating virtually. In an effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, all Town of Addison facilities closed to the public at 5 p.m. March 20. The Town recommends calling departments directly to get a hold of them. The Finance department’s phone number is 972-450-7051.
