Earlier this year, Addison-based The Original Pancake House DFW was named a Great Place to Work-Certified Company! Certification is a significant achievement – they use validated employee feedback gathered with Great Place to Work’s rigorous, data-driven for all methodology. This designation confirms that 7 out of 10 employees have a consistently positive experience at The Original Pancake House DFW.

“This is well-deserved recognition for OPH-DFW,” said Jonathan Seyoum, co-owner of The Original Pancake House DFW in a recent press release. “From the beginning, we created a foundation based on the quality of our product and the quality of our associates. We recognize they are the keys to our success. The culture at OPH-DFW models that of a family. We work hard together. We support each other, and we celebrate our victories together.”

Great Place to Work is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue and increased innovation.

“We congratulate The Original Pancake House DFW on their certification,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of Best Workplace List Research at Great Place to Work, in a recent press release. “Organizations that earn their employees’ trust create great workplace cultures that deliver outstanding business results.”

“At OPH-DFW, we are conscious capitalists and have always focused on an ‘associates first’ culture, added Mark Davis Bailey, OPH-DFW co-owner, in the press release. “Our associates’ experience is a high priority, and it means a lot that they consistently reported a positive experience with coworkers, leadership and their roles/responsibilities. We know that a high-trust experience drives satisfaction, productivity, business results and makes a difference to our guests. We are the kind of place you would be proud to have your mother work at.”

OPH-DFW employs 289 managers and associates at their eight locations throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Co-owners Bailey and Seyoum opened the first Original Pancake House in DFW in 1987. Their mantra is: “We are not just a business. We are a family of associates committed to quality food, quality service, quality human resources, quality facilities and quality business.”
