Ready to party like leprechauns? St. Patrick’s Day weekend is one of the best times to go out in the North Dallas Corridor, where everyone will be wearing green to celebrate this Irish holiday. Check out a few of the best places to celebrate this weekend below.
The Back 9
Come in March 15 for a special St. Patty’s Day party/ 10-year anniversary party at The Back 9. Everyone who comes is lucky, because you can get $2 wells, $3 calls (Jack and down) and $3.50 domestic drafts. DJ Will and DJ Reewind will also be onsite, playing the hottest music.
Come by March 17 for a special drink at Cantina Laredo. They will be offering a $7 Lucky ‘Rita, which is a frozen Casa ‘Rita with Midori Melon Liquor. Of course, while you’re there you will love their authentic Mexican appetizers and entrees (who says you can’t celebrate two cultures at once?).
Collect a limited-edition glass at Flying Saucer beginning at 7 p.m. March 11. Flying Saucer will be releasing another amazing glass in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. Later, come by on March 17 for a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration featuring drafts on Firesale and a Reuben Burger and beer combo.
You don’t have to go to the end of the rainbow to discover treasure – simply stop by III Forks to get the $13 Lucky Potion. This delicious drink is made with gin, green chartreuse and Luxardo cherry liquor.
The Irish are honored year-round at Malarkey’s Tavern, which is an Irish-themed pub. Come in for the festive McLuvin, featuring vodka, rum, gin, triple sec, melon liqueur, sprite, sweet ‘n’ sour and a splash of pineapple with a cute duck floating on top for you to keep. Or try the Paddy’s Ginger Punch, featuring Paddy’s Irish whiskey, cranberry juice and ginger beer inside a festive leprechaun cup that you can keep!
Pluckers Wing Bar
Head over to Pluckers Wing Bar for St. Patrick’s Day to try $3 pints of green beer, $4 Psychedelic Frog pints, $5 Jameson specials and five boneless wings for $8. While you’re there, be sure to try their trademark wings paired with signature sauces, such as buffalo, spicy BBQ and spicy ranch, as well as unique flavors like Fire in the Hole, Ginger Peach Sriracha, Gochujang and Spicy Mandarin.
This is the first ever St. Patrick’s Day party at Sidecar Social – and it’s going to be a blast! Come out this Saturday at 11 a.m. for drink specials (including $5 Jameson and $6 Car Bombs), Jello shots, live music by Metal Shop Dallas and Le Freak, a free photo booth and more. You can also buy VIP Tickets for $50, which includes entry, two drinks and access to the upstairs VIP lounge with food included.
Saturday is St. Litty’s Day at Union Park, beginning at $3 p.m. During this event, DJ IE and DJ Reese will play your favorite music at Union Park serves up all kinds of drink specials – from green beer to Jameson. The kitchen will also be serving delicious day-party bites. You’ll never want to leave!
For one day only – Sunday, March 17 – Yard House is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with its own twist on the traditional corned beef and cabbage. Yard House’s corned beef is braised in beer and aromatics for four hours and then served with boiled red potatoes and cabbage. Guests can also get in the Irish spirit with a Guinness or an ice-cold green beer or just enjoy one of the 110 beers on tap. Take advantage of $5 pints from 6-10 p.m.
