The Southwest Gallery will be hosting a unique exhibition on Saturday, February 8 from 1–5 p.m. The top selling contemporary artists for the gallery, Mark Whitmarsh and Paul Walden, will each have 10 new works of art on display. These pieces of art bring together abstraction, color, and creativity to create a wonderful Transitional Abstracts exhibition at the gallery this February.

Visitors will get the chance to meet both artists and learn more about how they create paintings that are transitional contemporary and abstract expressionist in nature. If you would like to look at the artists works, visit Southwest Gallery’s website to see Paul Walden’s and Mark Whitmarsh’s pieces.

Southwest Gallery has been a staple of the Dallas fine art scene for over 50 years. It has the largest collection of fine 19th to 21st century paintings and sculptures. The gallery exhibits hundreds of artists who work in a broad range of styles, all displayed in our 16,000 square foot showroom. If you choose to buy one of Sunol’s pieces, the Gallery offers a preview service that allows customers to view pieces in their office or home prior to final purchase. The staff is available to assist and inform clients throughout the whole process. Located at 4500 Sigma Rd., Dallas, TX 75244, Southwest Gallery’s business hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9 a.m.–6 p.m. and Sunday 1–5 p.m.
