We are just a few days away from Valentine’s Day and the question that is more than likely hovering above many of us is: Where am I taking my wife/husband/date? While some people may not celebrate the day or maybe look at it as just a marketing thing, Valentine’s Day can still be a day to do something special without spending a lot of money or making a huge deal. While Feb. 14 can be hectic, there are some alternatives to still celebrate Valentine’s Day before or after.

At the Fish Market Grill enjoy your choice of a starter like the Shrimp and Lobster Bisque, Valentine Caesar to name a few. Choice of entrée: Filet mignon, cast iron Angus ribeye, spice-rubbed Scottish salmon, almond and basil crusted trout, ancho glazed Texas redfish or almond crusted jumbo shrimp. The Steak and Chop House’s menu includes Berkshire pork, lobster and shrimp Shumai, Ahi Tuna Poke on crispy won tons, pepper-crusted elk loin, local A Bar N Ranch Wagyu ribeye, sea salt and herb-crusted prime rib of beef and of course your choice of dessert.
For a night out with dinner and live music, make reservations at Table 13. Their special Valentine’s Celebration includes a vintage-inspired prix fixe menu, live music, and limited edition Table 13 wine glass. If you cannot make it out on the 14th, don’t worry, they are offering this special dinner from Feb. 12 to the 15 with different live music performances every night. Laugh until it hurts with Addison Improv’s Valentine’s Date Night featuring past winners from the Funniest Comedian show. Dez Oneal, Ralph Barbosa, Wes Corwin, Grady Pruitt, Paul Varghese, and Linda Stogner will take the stage and starting at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13.
Jade Catta-Preta will take the stage on Friday, Feb. 14 for a special Valentine’s Day show. Jade was recently named the new host of E! Network’s Talk Soup.
