If you’re anything like me, you like having multiple coats for the winter season. There are certain ones I like to wear when it’s really cold or when I’ll be outside a lot, and ones that I love to wear to look cute and fashionable. I have put together a list of coats that are applicable to any situation.

Best Peacoat – Kate Spade New York Faux Fur Leopard-Collar Coat, Neiman Marcus – $179

This charming, shorter style peacoat is the perfect choice to get a cute, everyday look while still staying warm and cozy. With its three-button front and A-line silhouette, it looks adorable and professional at the same time. As an additional bonus, the coat also comes with a faux fur leopard collar to add a fierce edge to your look.

Best Overall Active Coat – The North Face Mossbud Reversible Heatseeker, Nordstrom – $149

If you are going to be spending any amount of prolonged time outside at the mercy of the elements, this is the jacket you need to have. It is windproof on one side with a soft fleece on the other and special heat seeker insulation and hand-warmer pockets. It is also super comfortable – great for running or running errands!

Overall Best Down Coat – Canada Goose Victoria Fur-Hood Parka, Neiman Marcus – $895

This down coat is perfect for those who love to stay bundled up and warm, as it is made with white duck down. A water-repellant finish and adjustable cuffs help prevent heat from escaping through the sleeves. It has been proven to endure daily temperatures from 14 to -4 degrees Fahrenheit. It also comes in red or black so you can pick the one closest to your own personal style.
