Salads You’ll Actually Want to Eat

Salad at Al Biernat’s North.

Eating healthy can be so hard. You have to go to the grocery store every few days to make sure your fruits and vegetables stay fresh. You have to spend more money at fast food joints (why is salad always more than fried chicken?). You have to meal prep and plan ahead. But at many Corridor restaurants, healthy eating doesn’t have to be a challenge – you can get amazing salads that you will actually want to eat! Here are a few of our favorites.

Al Biernat’s North has 10 amazing salads to choose from! Get everything from the classic Caesar, to the Amelia’s Farm Tomatoes and Mozzarella made with avocado, basil, balsamic demi. Other amazing options include Brad’s Grilled Pear, with mixed greens, Marcona almonds, Manchego and garlic vinaigrette; and Al’s Salad, made with hearts of palm, avocado, shrimp and crab, Russian or Garlic dressing. Is this the first time your mouth has watered over salad? (We don’t blame you!)

Salads are taken to a whole new level at Chamberlain’s Fish Market Grill. This seafood restaurant may be known for their fish, but their green options are pretty amazing as well! The Chop Salad features vegetables, greens, walnuts, blue cheese and lemon basil dressing. The Caesar Salad is made with red and green romaine lettuce, shaved parmesan, flame grilled croutons, house made garlic dressing and baby heirloom tomatoes. And you have to try the Boston Lettuce Wedge Salad, topped with spiced pumpkin seeds, candied pork belly, baby heirloom tomatoes and blue cheese buttermilk tarragon dressing!

Finally, make your own salad at Salata! You can completely customize your salad to your preferences, keeping things unique and different, so you will want to keep coming back for more! There are over 50 fresh toppings to choose from. Start with your base, which includes Salata mix, kale, spinach and more. Next, choose from a wide variety of fresh veggies. Top this with your choice of cheese and nuts, fruits and protein. Finish by adding a unique topping, like a multigrain croissant or a Thai ginger tortilla. It’s so good, you’ll totally forget you’re eating healthy.
